Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation is continuously distributing Ramadan gifts to the people of NA122.An effort of days and nights to help those people who do not have basic food items to fast during the month of Ramadan. Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation was working from months for distributing ration cards in one of the main and biggest constituency of Lahore. After the distribution of cards the preparation of Ramadan ration boxes was done having the basic food items for the families who at least deserve a little help to fast with dignity and respect.

On daily basis these boxes are distributed to thousands of people, this process takes more than days because of the large quantity and covering a huge area. Clean drinking water, Lahore`s dream…

LAHORE, some call it a city of gardens, some call it our cultural hub but the reality of this city when it comes to basic necessities of life is unbelievable. This city is in a developing stage from years, one project after another. Roads and bridges are the main focus of this government. In last few years the only progress we have seen is in new roads,metro and and some flyovers but the issue of water is attracting a huge amount of audience from last few months.

Parachute Colony in PP147 is one of the effected sites by Orange line, but something more important about this story is drinking water. The issue was highlighted on various forums. Abdul Aleem Khan from NA122 and MPA Shoaib Siddiqui PP147 took the initiative to provide some solid proofs regarding this issue.

“Abdul Aleem khan” an ordinary citizen of Pakistan openly challenging PML-N`s leadership to prove all those baseless allegations they have against him during one of his election campaigns. A man who is known to help his people without any interest, without any gain in return, who is helping thousands of people with his donations, feeding hundreds of deserving Pakistanis with his own resources. Opponents use these groundless speeches only to malign and de-motivate a man who has potential to grow and do something great for this country.

Once Aristotle said, “Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime”.
By looking at this picture I feel as embarrassed as every countryman of Pakistan. This is what has been given to this wonderful talented nation by our current and previous rulers. No wonder crime is so high. However, this motivates me to continue with my efforts for Naya Pakistan where, at least, everybody can have access to justice, equality, respect, and basic necessities of life.
